Laurent’s curiosity has led him to start his career in the industry while combining his training in music, economics and accounting. This diverse background enables him to develop innovative viewpoints, making him a trusted advisor. He understands the importance of quality financial information for his clients to help them make decisions and meet the expectations of their stakeholders.

For almost 10 years, Laurent has been providing audit consulting services at Richter to clients with complex issues, such as public companies, venture capital companies, not-for-profit organizations and pension plans. He also provides consulting services for financial reporting, such as for transitions to IFRS standards, the application of standards related to leases, future taxes and business combinations. With his expertise and his in-depth knowledge of accounting and auditing, he is able to anticipate problems and propose targeted solutions, all while having an overview of the situation.

Laurent has also been involved with various national committees and working groups in recent years and was a professional exam corrector at HEC Montréal from 2013 to 2015. Since 2019, he has been treasurer of the Montréal Centre for Contemporary Textiles, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide professional training in textile design and manufacturing techniques.
