Dewald Jonker has over 13 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Dewald began their career in 2006 as a Network Engineer at Symphony Telecommunications. In 2007, they joined Phonetime Network, Inc. as a Routing Manager & Network Engineer. During their time at Phonetime, they managed the routing team, implemented new routing and products to ensure quality and maximum margin within the LCR, created and implemented new products, and advised the sales team. Dewald also provisioned new trunks on the SBC and Internal routing engine, monitored network performance, adjusted routing as needed, implemented new policies to team members to maximize efficiency, and ported over customers from the Symphony Network. In 2013, they joined One World Telecoms as a Voice Network Manager. During their time at One World Telecoms, they managed the voice network to ensure quality, provisioned new clients on the network, and managed the routing. Lastly, they joined Ricochet Global in 2013 as Vice President Of Carrier Services and Network Operations & Routing Manager. Dewald's roles in the company included managing the Network Operations Team, managing the routing, advising the Sales team on various aspects, and implementing new clients onto the SBC and internal routing management platform.

Dewald Jonker attended Citrusdal High School from 1993 to 2004. In 2005, they enrolled in IT Engineering at CTI Durbanville and obtained a CompTIA certification from the CTI Education Group in November of the same year.
