Carra Wallace is a seasoned leader and diversity strategist with extensive experience in various high-impact roles. As the Founder and CEO of Optimized Diversity Solutions, established in March 2018, Carra develops innovative diversity and inclusion strategies for C-suite executives. Among other notable positions, Carra has served as Special Projects Advisor to Reverend Al Sharpton, contributing to civil rights advocacy through the National Action Network since 2018. Prior experience includes serving as the first Chief Diversity Officer for the Office of New York City Comptroller Scott M. Stringer, where Carra created the Office of Diversity Initiatives to enhance contract opportunities for underrepresented groups. Additional roles include Managing Director at the Dormitory Authority State of New York, Executive Vice President positions at Telwares and NYC Leadership Academy, and pivotal leadership roles at Kintera, Covad Communications, and U S WEST. Carra holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University.
