Ellie Ezzell is an experienced professional with a robust background in project management, economic development, and education. Currently serving as Project Manager of Strategy and Economic Development Specialist at the Regional Industrial Development Corporation since February 2020, Ellie previously worked as a Graduate Researcher for the Mexico Security Initiative at the Strauss Center for International Security and Law and as a Graduate Assistant at the Longhorn Center for Community Engagement. Ellie has also held teaching positions, including 8th Grade Social Studies Teacher and Department Head at San Antonio ISD and Austin Achieve Public Schools. Ellie Ezzell holds a Master of Public Affairs in Public Policy Analysis from The LBJ School of Public Affairs and two Bachelor's degrees in International/Global Studies and Political Science from American University.

The Regional Industrial Development Corporation (RIDC) of Southwestern Pennsylvania was established in 1955 to foster new employment opportunities for business and industry and to diversify the regional economy of southwestern Pennsylvania. We are a private, non-profit organization that focuses on a dynamic, regional approach to economic development.
