Jenelle Sobey has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jenelle is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder at RIDDL, a company that focuses on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investments. Prior to that, they were a Partner and Managing Partner at Code + Mortar, an award-winning global development and invention firm. Jenelle has also served as a Course Instructor at the University of New Brunswick and as an Independent Consultant, where they held various roles such as Social Innovation Manager and Program Manager. Additionally, they have worked as the Partner Relations Manager and Interim Executive Director at the New Brunswick Business Council. Earlier in their career, they held positions at the Learning Disabilities Association of New Brunswick, the University of New Brunswick as a Research and Teaching Assistant, and the Federation of New Brunswick Faculty Associations as a Research Analyst.

Jenelle Sobey's education history begins in 2004 when they attended St. Francis Xavier University. Jenelle pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government, which they completed in 2008. Following this, between 2008 and 2011, they attended the University of New Brunswick where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Political Science and Government. In 2013, they enrolled in the University of Waterloo's Graduate Diploma Program, specializing in Social Innovation, and completed it in 2014.
