Larry Bates has a diverse work experience in the food service industry. Larry started their career as an Executive Sous Chef at Spring Mill Country Club, where they were responsible for planning and implementing banquet and ala carte production, scheduling and monitoring food production, and creating menu specifications. Larry then worked as a Food Production Supervisor at The Wood Company/Manor Care Health Systems before moving on to Luther Park as an Assistant Director/Executive Chef. Larry then joined Twining Village as a Food Service Director/Food Service Manager and Seniors North Management as a Director of Nutritional Services. Larry'smost recent position is Director of Dining Services at Riddle Village, where they are currently employed.

Larry Bates completed their high school education at Hatboro Horsham from 1985 to 1987, earning a high school diploma with a focus on college preparation. Subsequently, they enrolled in Bucks County Community College, where they pursued a degree in Culinary from 1989 to 1992. Larry'sstudies at Bucks County Community College were part of the Chef Apprenticeship Program.
