Xinyu Zhao

Xinyu (Ciao) Zhao is an experienced professional in the film and media industry, currently working on the Feature Team at Rideback since August 2022. Previous roles include serving as a Script Reader at the Austin Film Festival and as a Development Intern at Atlas Entertainment, where Xinyu contributed by writing coverage on scripts and managing office tasks. Xinyu has held various positions in development and production, including internships at Nine Stories Productions, DxChannel, GRAVITY PICTURES, Mark Victor Productions, and a research assistant role at the Annenberg Inclusion Initiative. Xinyu also demonstrated leadership as Co-Director of the Academic Culture Assembly at USC Undergraduate Student Government, managing a significant budget and organizing numerous events for the student body. Xinyu holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Cinema and Media Studies and Communication from the University of Southern California.
