Sergio Ricardo Charret Correa has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries and roles. Sergio Ricardo began their career in 2011 as a Research Development Intern at ENEVA. In 2012, they worked as an Intern Field Engineer for Well Testing Services at Schlumberger.

Sergio then joined Shell in 2012 and held several positions over the years. Sergio Ricardo started as a Subsea Hardware Engineer, conducting dock tests of subsea trees and participating in offshore campaigns for BC10 Phase 2. Sergio Ricardo later became a Subsea Hardware Eng./ Interface and Engineering Coordinator, responsible for managing the scope of supply for a rig module installation. Sergio also worked as a System Integration Lead, developing procedures and overseeing pipeline termination structures. Sergio Ricardo concluded their time at Shell as a Project Engineer, where they were responsible for commissioning activities, site surveys, and operational procedures.

In 2018, Sergio joined The New Zealand Institute for Plant and Food Research Limited as a Site Engineer, a role they held until 2020.

In 2020, Sergio's career took a shift towards the mobility industry. Sergio Ricardo worked at Uber as a Senior Operations Manager for JUMP by Uber in Auckland. Their responsibilities included managing the warehouse and workforce, as well as analyzing operations data to improve business performance.

Currently, Sergio is working at Beam Mobility, where they started in 2020 as a Senior Operations Associate. Sergio Ricardo quickly advanced to the role of Operations Manager and is currently serving as the Head of Operations. In this position, Sergio is responsible for leading the operations of +2k e-scooters and e-bikes across New Zealand. Sergio Ricardo has also played a significant role in expanding Beam Mobility's presence from one to six cities and has contributed to the company's successful license renewal in Auckland.

Sergio Ricardo Charret Correa completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. This education took place from 2007 to 2012. In addition to their degree, Sergio also obtained several certifications throughout their career. Sergio Ricardo obtained the "SQL: Data Reporting and Analysis" certification from LinkedIn in May 2020, the "Lean Six Sigma Foundations" certification from LinkedIn in April 2020, the "MEX Basic and Advanced Trainings" certification from Maintenance Experts in March 2019, the "Degree of Mechanical Engineering (Level 7) - International Qualification Statement" certification from NZQA in September 2018, and the "IPMA Project Management Level D" certification from IPMA: International Project Management Association in November 2015.
