Mir Baqar has over 30 years of professional work experience. Mir started their career in 1991 as an IT Project Manager & Systems Analyst at UB Networks. In 1996, they became the IT Manager of eBusiness at Newbridge Networks. In 1998, they were promoted to Director of Information Technology Services at NEC Electronics. In 2001, they were promoted to Director of Consulting Services at NEC Solutions America. From 2005 to 2013, they worked at Cisco Systems as a Senior Manager of Solutions Architecture and Supply Chain Partner Integrations. From 2013 to 2022, they worked at Cox Automotive Inc. as a Senior Director of Product Management and Professional Services. In 2022, they began their current role as Senior Director of Product Management at Ridecell.

Mir Baqar attended San Jose State University from 1986 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business.
