Gerardo Moreno's work experience includes a role as a Senior Project Manager at RideCo On-Demand Transit since 2022. Later, Gerardo Moreno enrolled in York University in 2007 and completed their studies in 2011. At York University, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in International Studies, specializing in Bilingual studies.

In addition to their formal education, Gerardo Moreno obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2013, they became Certified in Digital Printing from Hahnemühle FineArt. Gerardo enhanced their skills further by acquiring various certifications related to autonomous shuttles. In 2018, Gerardo received the Autonomous Vehicle EZ10 - Operator certification from EasyMile, and in the same year, they obtained the Autonomous Vehicle EZ10 - Chief Operator certification. In 2019, Gerardo became a Training Officer for Autonomous Shuttles and achieved Level 1 Setup Designer for Autonomous Shuttles certification, both from EasyMile. Recently, in 2021, they acquired the Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC).
