Gerardo Moreno

Gerardo Moreno's work experience includes a role as a Senior Project Manager at RideCo On-Demand Transit since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Pacific Western Transportation Ltd from 2018 to 2022, where they held the position of ELA - AV Chief Operator, Trainer & Route Designer. From 2015 to 2022, Gerardo was employed at SOUTHLAND Transportation, serving as Manager, Special Projects. Gerardo also worked in the roles of Special Projects and Supervisor - Paratransit Drivers during their time at SOUTHLAND Transportation. In 2013, Gerardo was a NextGen Management Intern at Pacific Western Transportation Ltd. Gerardo also worked as a Team Bus Coordinator at the 2015 Canada Winter Games and held a NextGen Management Intern position at Prairie Bus Lines.

Gerardo Moreno completed their education in a chronological order. Gerardo started their academic journey in 2004 at RMIT University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a focus on International/Global Studies. Gerardo attended RMIT University until 2005.

Later, Gerardo Moreno enrolled in York University in 2007 and completed their studies in 2011. At York University, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in International Studies, specializing in Bilingual studies.

In addition to their formal education, Gerardo Moreno obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2013, they became Certified in Digital Printing from Hahnemühle FineArt. Gerardo enhanced their skills further by acquiring various certifications related to autonomous shuttles. In 2018, Gerardo received the Autonomous Vehicle EZ10 - Operator certification from EasyMile, and in the same year, they obtained the Autonomous Vehicle EZ10 - Chief Operator certification. In 2019, Gerardo became a Training Officer for Autonomous Shuttles and achieved Level 1 Setup Designer for Autonomous Shuttles certification, both from EasyMile. Recently, in 2021, they acquired the Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC).
