Gilbert Nwankwo

Gilbert Nwankwo has a diverse work experience spanning several roles in the software development field. Gilbert is currently working as a Senior Software Developer In Test at RideCo. On-Demand Transit since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Imagine Communications as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2018 to March 2021.

Gilbert also has experience working at Intelligent Mechatronic Systems - IMS, where they served as a Test Automation Engineer/Team Scrum Master from August 2017 to October 2018. In this role, they were responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing test cases, identifying bugs, and creating bug reports. Gilbert also developed test tools and scripts for automation testing, contributed to defect prevention, and worked closely with the DevOp team.

Before joining IMS, Gilbert worked at BlackBerry as an Automation/Manual Test specialist for Blackberry OS/Apps Security from May 2015 to August 2016. Prior to that, they worked at Inlaks Nigeria as a Software Developer from July 2011 to August 2014. Their earliest work experience was at First Atlantic Semiconductors and Microelectronics Ltd, where they served as a Mobile Application Dev & Embedded System Engineer from December 2010 to June 2011.

Gilbert Nwankwo's education history includes a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Lakehead University, which they obtained from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Caritas University between 2005 and 2008. More recently, in 2019 and 2020, they pursued a Full Stack Developer degree from Udacity, specializing in Computer Software Engineering. In the same year, Gilbert also completed a ReactJs program offered by Udacity.
