Samuel Moffitt

Samuel Moffitt has a diverse work experience in the transportation and transit planning sector. Samuel is currently working as a Project Manager, Special Projects at RideCo. On-Demand Transit since October 2021. Previously, they served as a Senior Planning & Business Manager at FlixBus from May 2020 to December 2021. Prior to that, they held positions at North County Transit District as a Transit Planner, where they developed service changes and analyzed service performance data using various tools and programs. Samuel also worked as an Assistant Transit Planner at Transportation Management & Design, Inc., where they developed detailed recommendations for service changes and analyzed data related to AVL/APC boarding and on-time performance. Additionally, Samuel was the Transit Planning Manager and Conductor Manager at ASUCD Unitrans, where they led teams responsible for data analysis and operations improvement. Samuel also gained experience as a Caltrain Rail Intern at San Mateo County Transit District, leading a project team and preparing reports. Samuel has a background in research, having worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Transportation Studies at UC Davis. Samuel also served as the Nature Director at Camp Lassen, Golden Empire Council, Boy Scouts of America in 2012.

Samuel Moffitt completed their high school education at El Dorado High School from 2007 to 2011. Samuel then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Environmental Science and Management at the University of California, Davis from 2011 to 2015.
