Aravind Mani

Aravind Mani is the current Co-Founder at River. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Business Operations and Corporate Strategy at Ultraviolette Automotive from May 2018 to May 2020. Aravind has also held the position of Head of Commercial and Strategy at Manali Petrochemical Ltd from August 2015 to April 2018, and at Tamilnadu Petroproducts Ltd from January 2013 to July 2015.

Mani has experience in leading corporate strategy, business planning and fund raising activity. Aravind is well-versed in evaluating trends in e-Mobility, deriving actionable insights, enabling strategy development and driving critical decisions. Aravind has also been responsible for delivering bottom line results for a large downstream petrochemical business by managing selling and purchase, as well as overseeing a team of 40 people from various commercial teams.

In 2016, Mani spear-headed the acquisition of Notedome Ltd in the UK, and has since been managing the company while providing directions, leveraging synergies and ensuring best interests of MPL.

Aravind Mani has an MBA in Finance and Strategy Management from the Asian Institute of Management, a Btech in Engineering from the University of Kerala, and an ISC in Mathematics and Science from Loyola School.
