Vipin George

Co-Founder at River

Vipin George is the co-founder of River. Vipin was previously the Design Lead at Ultraviolette Automotive from July 2018 to June 2020. Vipin was responsible for heading and managing the industrial design functions, including design, clay modelling, surfacing, and production management. Vipin also setup clay modelling and made the industrial design team capable for mass-production. Some of their notable projects include the F77, which was unveiled in Nov 2019.

Prior to Ultraviolette Automotive, Vipin George was with Honda R&D (India) from May 2010 to July 2018 as the Group Head Designer. Vipin was responsible for various projects, such as the Honda X-Blade and Honda Activa 5G.

Vipin George started their career as a Design Intern at Escorts Construction Equipment Ltd from June 2009 to July 2009. Vipin then moved on to become a Tool & Die maker at Motherson Automotive Technologies & Engineering from July 2006 to July 2007.

Vipin George graduated from the MIT Institute of Design with a degree in Transportation Design. Vipin also has a diploma in Tool & Die making from NTTF (Nettur Technical Training Foundation).
