John Grenier

John Grenier is the current principal at Ridgemont Equity Partners, a position they have held since 2018. Prior to this, they served as vice president at both New Mountain Capital and GI Partners. John began their career as an intern at The Coca-Cola Company before moving on to Quad-C Management, Inc. and Arrowhead Mezzanine. John then spent two years as an investment banking analyst, first at Barclays Capital and then at Lehman Brothers.

John Grenier started their educational career at Groton School. John then went on to get their BS in Finance and Management from the University of Virginia. After that, they got their MBA in Finance, General from the University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School.

John Grenier reports to John Shimp, Managing Partner. They are on a team with Curtis Jones - Tax Director, Ed Balogh - Chief Operating Officer, and Tessa Shakon - Vice President.
