Kambiz Aflatoon

Kambiz Aflatoon has a diverse work experience in the field of addiction psychiatry and behavioral health. Kambiz founded Eagle Overlook Recovery for Adolescents in 2018 and held the roles of Founder, CEO, and Medical Director. Prior to that, they were the Medical Director at Ridgeview Institute starting from April 2018. From January 2014 to September 2018, they served as the CEO and Medical Director at New Focus Addiction and Behavioral Health. Kambiz also worked as the Medical Director at SummitRidge Hospital from April 2013 to May 2014. Before that, they held the position of Director of Outpatient Services at Summit Ridge Hospital from July 2012 to March 2013. Kambiz gained valuable experience as an Addiction Psychiatry Fellow at Emory University from July 2011 to June 2012. Their career started as a Resident Psychiatrist at Nassau University Medical Center from July 2006 to June 2011.

Kambiz Aflatoon obtained their Doctor of Osteopathy degree in Medicine from Des Moines University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 1999 to 2002. Kambiz first completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General, at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee between 1994 and 1998.
