Chad Knips

Chad Knips has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Chad began their career at FBR Capital Markets in 2006, where they worked in energy investment banking, focusing on capital raising for energy companies. In 2011, Chad joined EPL Oil and Gas Ltd. as the Manager of Business Development and Acquisitions, overseeing several acquisitions and divestitures totaling over $900 million. Chad then moved to Eagle Rock Energy Partners in 2014, serving as the Director of Corporate Finance, Hedging, and Investor Relations. During their tenure, they played a key role in divesting the midstream division for $1.3 billion. Chad's most recent role is at Ridgewood Energy, where they hold the position of Senior Vice President of Business Development.

Chad Knips attended Texas A&M University from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Finance.
