Victoria Velazquez

Victoria Velazquez has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Victoria began their career as a Receptionist at ReMax Professionals in 2014, followed by a NHRT Groundworker at Bolingbrook Park District in 2018. Victoria then held Research Assistant roles at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2018 and US Army Corps of Engineers in 2019. In 2020, they were a Special Projects Assistant at the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District, as well as a COVID Test Collection Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 2021, they were a Member Onboarding Lead, Compliance Specialist, and Member Success Specialist at Ridwell, as well as an Underwriter - USS1 at Homepoint.

Victoria Velazquez has a diverse educational background. Victoria attended Bolingbrook High School from 2012-2016 and then went on to earn an Associate of Science from Moraine Valley Community College from 2016-2018. In 2018, they began attending the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they earned a degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Science with a focus on Human Dimensions in 2020. Victoria has also obtained several certifications, including COVID-19 Contact Tracing from John Hopkins University SAIS Online in 2020, Fundamentals of GIS from University of California, Davis in 2020, Leadership Certificate from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2019, EcoLeader Project from National Wildlife Federation in 2017, and Emergency Medical Technician, Basic from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
