Bart van Rijswijk has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Bart currently works as a Mechanical Engineer at RIFT, where their role involves developing Iron Fuel Technology™ as an alternative to fossil fuels. Prior to this, they worked at ALTEN Nederland in various roles, including R&D Engineer at Vanderlande, Consultant & Engineer in Mechatronics, Project Engineer at AMF Bakery, and Mechanical Engineer at Minital B.V. At Minital B.V., they were responsible for brainstorming ideas, discussing technical challenges with the lead engineer, creating concepts, and designing products. Before that, they completed an internship at Van Uitert, where they successfully developed a gripping head for an ABB robot arm. Bart also completed an internship at Bosch Transmission Technology B.V., where they resolved issues with malfunctioning robot arms. Additionally, they completed internships at Lan Handling Technologies and Efteling while studying Mechatronics.

Bart van Rijswijk's education history begins in 2008 when they started attending Vakschool Tilburg. Bart completed a degree in Gemengde leerweg with a focus on Werktuigbouwkunde en elektrotechniek in 2012. After that, from 2012 to 2016, Bart attended ROC Tilburg where they pursued a BOL4 degree in Mechatronica. Bart then went on to complete a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronica/Robotica/Industriële automatisering from Avans University of Applied Sciences from 2016 to 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Bart has obtained several certifications. In December 2012, they obtained the VCA Basis certification from Examen Bureau Brabant. In October 2016, Bart achieved the Solidworks - CSWA Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate certification from Dassault Systèmes. Later, in May 2022, they completed the training 'Jumping to Excellence' from Freudenberg Trainingen, Assessments, Coaching & Organisatieadvies. Bart also obtained the Veiligheid voor Operationeel Leidinggevenden VCA certification from VCANederland in July 2022. Lastly, in January 2023, they attained the Solidworks - CSWP Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional certification from Dassault Systèmes.
