Mārtiņš Eņģelis

City Council Member

Mārtiņš Eņģelis is an urban researcher, spatial planner, and Riga city councillor with over 15 years of experience in culture, tourism, and urban topics. They have held roles such as Editor in Chief at CAPITAL R and founder of the Agenskalns Suburban Tour in Riga. Mārtiņš has worked with various organizations including the Icelandic Tourism Research Centre and the Latvian Investment and Development Agency, and they have hosted TV shows and contributed articles for Latvian National Television and LSM.lv. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Spatial Development and Planning at Latvijas Universitate, Mārtiņš aims to become the youngest president of Latvia by 2031.
