Joseph Lasaga

Joseph Lasaga is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in business development and corporate strategy within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer at Rigel Pharmaceuticals Inc., Joseph previously held various senior leadership roles, including SVP of Corporate Development and SVP of Business Development and Alliances at the same company. Prior to Rigel, Joseph was Vice President of Business Development and Alliance Management at Galena Biopharma, Inc., and held multiple positions at Nektar Therapeutics, including Senior Director and Director of Business Development. Joseph's career also includes an early role as Associate Director of Business Development at Rigel Pharmaceuticals and as a Senior Researcher. Joseph holds an MBA in Marketing from San Francisco State University and a BS in Molecular Biology from San Jose State University.
