John Olesky's work experience begins in 2002 when they worked as a Software Engineer at ITT Inc. John then moved on to Thomson Healthcare, where they held the position of Software Engineer and later became a Product Manager for the company's pharmaceutical education products. In 2006, they joined Fidelity National Information Services as a Sr. Product Manager, specializing in syndicated loan platforms.
In 2010, Olesky joined IHS Markit as a Director of Product Management and later became the Managing Director and Global Co-head of Loan Platforms. Their work at IHS Markit involved overseeing loan market platforms, including ClearPar, Debtdomain, Notice Manager, and Loan Reconciliation. John also created and led the development of the Stax platform, a distributed ledger platform for financial services.
Olesky's next career move was to 2nd Payer Finance, Inc, where they served as a Strategic Advisor. In 2021, they joined iLex as a Senior Advisor and a Member of the Board of Directors. Their responsibilities at iLex included providing strategic guidance and serving on the board.
Currently, Olesky is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Right Pedal LendOS, a position they began in 2022. John is also a Co-Founder of Right Pedal, a role they started in the same year.
Throughout their career, Olesky has demonstrated expertise in product management, strategy, and leadership roles within the financial services and technology sectors.
John Olesky has a strong educational background, with degrees from both the University of Florida and Stanford University Graduate School of Business. John obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Florida in 2000, followed by a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution between 2000 and 2003. In 2015-2016, John attended the LEAD Program in Corporate Innovation at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
