Ran Oelgiesser

Ran Oelgiesser is the co-founder and CEO of RightBound. Ran has over fifteen years of experience in product and marketing management, having served in various leadership roles at Yotpo, vCita, Microsoft, and Cyota.

Ran began their career as a software engineer, working for Trivnet and then the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) before co-founding Kidaro in 2004. At Kidaro, Ran served as VP of Product and Marketing, overseeing the development and launch of the company's desktop virtualization software. In 2008, Kidaro was acquired by Microsoft, and Ran relocated to Redmond to lead the business integration of the acquisition.

At Microsoft, Ran served as Senior Product Manager for Windows 7 Desktop Virtualization and Windows 8 Enterprise Security. In 2011, they left Microsoft to join vCita as Chief Marketing Officer. Ran built and managed vCita's marketing, brand, demand generation, sales, and customer success teams in the US.

In 2017, Ran left vCita to join Yotpo as VP of Marketing. Ran oversaw all aspects of Yotpo's marketing strategy, including brand awareness, lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention. Ran left Yotpo in 2018 to launch RightBound.

Ran Oelgiesser received an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
