David Burton

David Burton currently serves as the Head of Internal Audit & Assurance at Rightmove since March 2024. Prior to this role, David was the Head of Internal Audit, Risk and Business Continuity at Superdry from April 2019 to March 2024. David also held the position of Head of Risk and Audit at Good Energy from August 2014 to March 2019, and Head of Compliance and Risk Management at Avios Group Limited from July 2011 to August 2014, where David established an audit and risk management function and a control framework for compliance. Earlier in David's career, David worked as the International Internal Audit Manager at Clear Channel Outdoor, leading a team to provide assurance across 25 business units, and as a Supervisor in Business Risk Services at PKF, focusing on internal audit services for FTSE 100 clients. David completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of Leicester between 1998 and 2001.
