Joe Burke

Joe Burke has a diverse range of work experience in the design field. Joe currently works at Rightpoint as a Senior Visual Designer, having previously held the position of Visual Designer at the same company. Prior to that, they worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at Northwestern University, teaching design thinking and communication. Joe also has experience as a Graphic Designer, collaborating with various clients to produce graphics for different purposes. Joe worked as a Contract Design Researcher at Insight Innovation Center, where they gained experience in design research and visualization for the development of medical offerings. Additionally, Joe has worked as a Design Thinking & Communication TA at Northwestern University and as an Industrial Design Intern at Blackjack Lighting. Joe has also worked as a Program Assistant at SparkShop, where they developed engineering curricula for students, and as a Design Engineering Intern at Northwestern University. Joe's career began with an internship at Spagnolo Enterprises LTD., where they gained hands-on experience with HVAC systems, and as a Market Developer at Garvey's Office Products, where they focused on expanding business through sales and marketing initiatives.

Joe Burke completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University in the years 2013 to 2017. Later on, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Engineering Design Innovation at Northwestern University from 2017 to 2018. In addition, Joe obtained a certification as a Certified SolidWorks Associate from Dassault Systèmes in April 2015.
