Mikko Nurmi is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Rightware since September 2022. With extensive experience in software development, Mikko has been programming for Demoscene since 1994. Prior to Rightware, Mikko co-founded Vire Labs Ltd and held the role of Lead Graphics Developer from September 2011 to September 2022. Previous positions include Staff Engineer/Manager at Qualcomm from January 2009 to August 2011, Member of Technical Staff at AMD Finland from October 2006 to January 2009, Senior Engineer at ATI Technologies (Finland) for a brief period in 2006, and Software Engineer at Bitboys from November 2005 to April 2006. Additionally, Mikko contributed as a Software Engineer at Twilight 3D from March 2001 to October 2005.
