Kevin Kavanaugh has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Kevin began their career as a Program Manager in the United States Air Force, where they served for 23 years, overseeing the Defense Information System Network and commanding U.S. Air Force's NIPRNet and SIPRNet. Following their military service, Kavanaugh joined AT&T as a Senior Enterprise Architect, Principal Engineer, and Analyst. Kevin then transitioned to the Department of State, where they held the position of Enterprise Architect for 16 years. During this time, they also worked as an Enterprise Architect at eGlobalTech, where they were responsible for managing effective programs and projects, evaluating and restructuring them, and identifying enterprise-wide IT solutions. Currently, Kavanaugh is employed at Rigil Corporation in a role as a Business Architect.
Kevin Kavanaugh earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Military Institute, where they attended from 1971 to 1975. Kevin then pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Air Force Institute of Technology-Graduate School of Engineering & Management, from 1982 to 1984.
