Lea Bejstrup Jensen is currently a PhD student at the Laboratory of Reproductive Biology at Rigshospitalet, associated with the University of Copenhagen since August 2022. Prior to this, Lea worked as an embryologist at StorkKlinik København from August 2020 to August 2022. Additional experience includes a lecturer position for the course “Fra Big Bang til det Moderne menneske” at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, from September 2018 to July 2020, and serving as a student assistant at Stork IVF and VivaNeo clinic from September 2016 to July 2020. Lea completed a master's thesis project at the Laboratory of Reproductive Biology at Rigshospitalet, focusing on ovarian cryopreservation from February 2019 to March 2020 and has also lectured at the School Service of Det Natur- og Biovidenskabelige Fakultet, Københavns Universitet. Education includes a Master of Science in Cell Biology and Physiology and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, both from the University of Copenhagen. Early career experience encompasses various roles, including work as a pakkeoperatør at Hydro Aluminium Extrusion Ltd and in retail.
