Silvia Ingala is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Rigshospitalet, focusing on artificial intelligence applications in radiology, particularly in AI for chest X-ray projects, since December 2022. Concurrently, Silvia serves as a Medical Consultant at CEREBRIU, where responsibilities include optimizing neuroradiology workflows and researching stroke biomarkers and synthetic contrast in brain MRI. Silvia's previous experience encompasses roles as a Radiology Resident at Noordwest Ziekenhuisgroep and Amsterdam UMC, as well as a Physician Scientist involved in the European Prevention of Alzheimer's Disease project at VU University Medical Center. Early career experiences include research internships in neuroimaging and pain therapy, with a medical internship focusing on CAR-T cell immunotherapy. Silvia holds a PhD in Neuroscience from VU Amsterdam and an MD from Università di Pavia, complemented by various academic roles, including Vice Rector at Collegio Universitario S. Caterina da Siena.
