Ashley Missen

Ashley Missen has a long and varied work experience. In 2011, they began their career as a Substitute Teacher for the Simcoe County District School Board. In 2012, they moved on to become a Golf and Events Supervisor at Hawk Ridge Golf and Country Club. In 2013, they worked as a Data Entry Specialist for the Ontario Public Service. In 2014, they worked as a Client Advisor for RBC. In 2015, they were a Project Manager for African Impact. From 2016 to 2021, they were a Senior National Event, Employee and Client Services Executive Consultant - North America, National Event and Item Consultant, Regional Head of Events and Logistics, and Event Manager - Vancouver for Givergy. Currently, they are a Freelance Writer/Website Consultant.

Ashley Missen obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Global Studies and Philosophy from Wilfrid Laurier University between 2009 and 2013. Ashley also holds a Project Management certification from African Impact which they obtained in September 2015. Additionally, they have a Smart Serve certification and a Volunteer Certification from the Ontario Provincial Police.
