Emily Masching

Emily Masching has worked in various roles since 2009. In 2009, they worked as an Estate Administration Support at Stern Cohen Shier, Inc. In 2010, they worked as a Junior Economist at the Canadian Transportation Agency, where they researched differences in Canadian and U.S. marine transport legislation. In 2011, they completed an internship at The Kuyasa Fund through Rooftops Canada and the CIDA International Youth Internship Program, where they performed varied duties including Internal Audit support, portfolio analysis, and call centre scheduling. In 2012, they worked as a Knowledge Base Analyst & Project Manager at IntelliResponse Systems Inc (a 24/7 company). From 2014 to 2016, they worked at [24]7, where they served as a Technical Account Manager for Virtual Agent (VA) clients based in Asia and Australia, including Optus, Vodafone and Singtel. Emily provided tier 1 tech support and identified opportunities to optimize the service's performance, as well as delivering product demonstrations to prospective clients and supervising two VA administrators. Finally, from 2016 to the present, they have worked at Riipen, where they have held the roles of Director of Product, Academic Relationship Manager, and Connecting Associate.

Emily Masching attended Queen's University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts and Humanities in Economics. In 2009 and 2010, they also studied Economics and French at the University of St Andrews.
