Marianne Nuij

Marianne Nuij is an experienced conservator specializing in metal restoration and conservation. Currently serving as a Restaurator at Rijksmuseum Boerhaave since July 2021, Marianne also operates Marianne Nuij Metaalrestauratie, a position held since October 2018. Notable past roles include Restaurator at MSDS Marine, where contributions were made to the Rooswijk1740 project, and a position at Rupert Harris Conservation from October 2018 to February 2019. Prior experience includes working as PDRes at the University of Amsterdam and as a Publieksmedewerker at the Rijksmuseum from February 2011 to June 2015. Marianne Nuij holds a PDRes in Restoration from the University of Amsterdam (2016-2018) and a Master's degree in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage from the same institution (2008-2016).
