Bianca M. Mortier, du is a renowned curator of costume at the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, a position held since October 1980, where expertise encompasses the oldest costume collection in the Netherlands, featuring approximately 10,000 items dating from 1550 to 1950. Bianca served as vice-chair of the ICOM Costume Committee from 2007 to August 2013, collaborating with museum professionals and costume historians globally. Earlier experience includes working as a production assistant for the popular radio program "Speulenteere" at Regionale Omroep Zuid and designing historic costumes for the film "Doodzonde" with Burgwal films. Education includes a Master's degree in History of Art from Utrecht University and completion of Atheneum-A at Sacré Coeur, Vaals.
