Esther Doornbusch

Esther Doornbusch has been serving as the Acquisition Manager at the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam since March 2009, where responsibilities include cataloguing acquisitions, data editing, and developing workflow procedures in SharePoint. As the founder of hedendaagsesieraden.nl since October 2016, Esther created an online encyclopedia of jewelry featuring linked data. Additionally, Esther is a board member and secretary of Stichting Luster, supporting Haarlem's Jewelry Collective, and previously served as an advisor for Stichting Wilhelminaring. Contributions to the jewelry field include moderating roundtable discussions and scouting designers for projects. Esther's early career involved various roles in libraries and museum collections, complemented by an academic background in art history from Utrecht University.
