Jeroen Ter Brugge

Jeroen ter Brugge is a seasoned curator specializing in maritime collections, currently holding the position at Rijksmuseum since April 2018. Prior experience includes curatorial roles at Maritime Museum Rotterdam from September 2014 to April 2018 and as head of collections at Maritiem Museum Rotterdam between 2007 and September 2014. Jeroen's earlier career featured a directorship at Fisheries Museum Vlaardingen from 2000 to 2007 and various archaeological positions, including provincial archaeologist for Utrecht at Rijksdienst Oudheidkundig Bodemonderzoek from 1996 to 2000 and town archaeologist for the Municipality of Vlaardingen from 1993 to 1996. Education credentials include a degree in archaeology from Leiden University obtained between 1986 and 1993, as well as studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2014 to 2018.
