Beau B.

Beau B. has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Beau started their career as an Assistent Harbourmaster at Marina Port Zelande BV, where they gained experience in maintenance tasks. This role sparked their interest in the maritime industry. Beau then worked as an Apprentice Officer at Baggerbedrijf de Boer B.V./ Dutch Dredging and Koninklijke Boskalis Westminster NV, further developing their skills. Beau joined Rijkswaterstaat as an Assistant Lockmaster in 2015 before transitioning to the role of Chief officer / DPO in 2022. In between, they worked at Stena Line as a Third Officer, responsible for navigation, watch duties, loading, and maintenance tasks. Beau later joined Allseas, where they served as a JDPO / Third Mate and eventually became a DPO / Mate. Beau's work experience shows their progression and expertise in the maritime industry.

Beau B. has a Bachelor of Science degree in Maritime Officer from Hogeschool van Amsterdam, which they obtained from 2012 to 2015. Beau also completed a minor in Offshore and Dredging from Maritiem Instituut Willlem Barentsz from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, Beau attended Stuurman Waterbouw, STC Rotterdam from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Mbo degree in Vaarbevoegdheid, Waterbouw, Scheepvaart. Beau has also obtained additional certifications including NOGEPA Basic Offshore Safety HUET + EBS from FMTC Schiphol Amsterdam in December 2016 and Maritiem Officier (spec. stuurman) from Hogeschool van Amsterdam in 2015.
