Nienke Siekerman has extensive experience in water management and environmental advisory roles at Rijkswaterstaat since January 2009, serving as a Senior Advisor in various capacities, including Water and Nature, Spatial Planning and Area Development, and Water Management. Nienke coordinated the Water cluster within the Corporate Innovation Program from mid-2016 to November 2019 and contributed to water projects in Myanmar as part of the Partners for Water program between March 2015 and mid-2017, commissioned by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management. Previous positions include Trainee Waterdienst at Dierenbescherming and Deltares, and flexibility roles at Graydon. Nienke holds a BSc/MSc in Biology/Environment & Resource Management from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and completed a Mastercourse in Biosecurity and International Environmental Treaties at the University of Amsterdam in 2006.
