Yann Friocourt

Yann Friocourt is an experienced Advisor and Specialist in information management at Rijkswaterstaat, where responsibilities include maintaining numerical models for water supply, water quality, and ecology for the management of major rivers and national waters in the Netherlands since January 2015. Prior to this, Yann worked as an Advisor/Researcher in environmental hydrodynamics at Deltares from January 2007 to December 2014 and earned a PhD in large-scale oceanography from IFREMER/Université de Bretagne Occidentale between 2003 and 2006. Yann's academic background includes a Master of Advanced Studies in physical oceanography from Pierre and Marie Curie University, a Master’s degree in General Engineering from ENSTA, and a Master’s degree in Physics from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI).
