Marcel Derks

Marcel Derks has extensive experience in education and project coordination, currently serving as a docent in online marketing and communication, as well as a career coach at Rijn IJssel since December 2012. Previously, Marcel held a position as a docent in general economics and was a staff member at Luzac from September 2007 to November 2012, and served as a mentor for various educational tracks. Earlier roles included project coordinator at Securitas Nederland, where a safety plan was developed, and commercial assistant at IWB Industrielle Werke Basel. Marcel's professional background also includes a trainee position at the Province of Gelderland focusing on EU programs, and training experience at the International Olympic Committee, contributing to a marketing plan for Olympic Spirit in Munich. Marcel holds a Master of Science in Communication Science from Radboud University, a Bachelor of Arts in Leisure & Events Management from Stenden, and has completed a program in retail management at Rijn IJssel.
