Ron Pisters

Ron Pisters is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Chief Medical Information Officer at mProve ziekenhuizen since September 2021 and as a Medical Project Manager and Cardiologist at Rijnstate since October 2017. Pisters is the founder of BandaIT, focusing on innovative healthcare solutions. Previous roles include an MD and PhD at Maastricht University Medical Centre, where Pisters specialized in outpatient clinics for atrial fibrillation and cardiogenetics. Pisters has also held various positions as a resident in Cardiology and Internal Medicine at Zuyderland and participated in the European mentorship program on thrombosis and hemostasis. Pisters completed post-doctoral research at the University of Birmingham and earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Maastricht University in 2006.
