Hiroaki Kitano

Hiroaki Kitano is a Professor at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate School and serves as Chief Technology Fellow at Sony Group Corporation. With a diverse career in technology and academia, they have held various leadership positions, including Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President at Sony Corporation and Director at Sony Computer Science Laboratories. Hiroaki also contributes as a Group Director at RIKEN and President of the Systems Biology Institute, while co-founding Iom Bioworks Pvt. Ltd. They hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Kyoto University and a B.A. in Physics from International Christian University.
