David Haskiya

David Haskiya currently serves as the Head of Unit for the AI-lab and Data Services and also leads the Digital Experiences unit at Riksarkivet Swedish National Archives since November 2020. Haskiya has contributed to various organizations, including being a member of the Advisory Board for Europeana and The Best in Heritage IMAGINES. Previous roles include Steering Group member of EuropeanaTech and Business Developer at Wikimedia Sverige. Haskiya has extensive experience in digital dissemination, having led new initiatives at Riksantikvarieämbetet to enhance accessibility for museums. With a background in product development at Europeana, Haskiya coordinated teams focused on content aggregation from numerous institutions and has held project management positions at Mogul and Curalia AB. Haskiya holds a Master’s Degree in Archaeological Computing from the University of Southampton and a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Archaeology and History from Lund University.
