Riksrevisjonen
Merethe Nordling, CIA, has served as Chief of Staff at Riksrevisjonen since February 2015, leading strategic and communication efforts for the Auditor General and Audit Council. Prior roles at Riksrevisjonen included Deputy Director General, overseeing audit methodology and delivering audits for the Ministry of Finance, and Senior Audit Advisor, focusing on audit regulations and training. Experience as an Advisor at INTOSAI-Donor Cooperation Secretariat involved enhancing Supreme Audit Institution capacities in developing countries. Early career positions included economist at Norges Bank and research assistant at Ragnar Frisch Centre for Economic Research. Merethe holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Universitetet i Oslo and has also studied at the University of Economics in Prague.
