Ashley Knauer

Ashley Knauer, OTD, OTR/L, is an experienced occupational therapist currently working at Riley Children's Health since August 2023. Prior to this role, Ashley served as an occupational therapist at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab from July 2022 to August 2023, where responsibilities included patient evaluation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and treatment coordination. Ashley completed a Doctoral Capstone at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, focusing on the integration of sexuality and intimacy in occupational therapy practice. Additional experiences include research assistance at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis and clinical internships at various healthcare facilities, providing comprehensive occupational therapy services to diverse patient populations. Ashley holds a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Indiana University Indianapolis and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
