Michaela di Palmo

Michaela Di Palmo is currently serving as a Music Therapy Intern at Park Nicollet Health Services since July 2024. Since December 2021, Michaela has held multiple roles at Riley Children's Health, including Associate Rehabilitation Clinical Support and Registration Specialist, as well as at Indiana University Health as a Registration Specialist. Michaela has significant experience in music therapy through various practicums, focusing on populations such as children and adults in medical settings, and has accumulated over 50 direct contact hours across different practicum placements. Additional roles include Undergraduate Research Assistant positions at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, where Michaela contributed to projects in behavioral oncology and schizophrenia. Michaela has also been actively involved in teaching CPR and First Aid courses at the YMCA and has held multiple leadership positions within Jagathon: IUPUI's Dance Marathon. Michaela is pursuing a Master of Healthcare Administration at Indiana University Indianapolis, building on a Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy and another in Psychology from the same institution and Purdue University, respectively.
