Michael Palmer

Michael Palmer has over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Michael is currently the Executive Vice President of Land at Riley Exploration Permian, Inc., a position they have held since May 2019. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Land at Riley Exploration - Permian, LLC from April 2017 to May 2019. Before joining Riley Exploration, Michael worked at Continental Resources as the Manager of Mineral Resources, Land Supervisor, and Staff Landman in various roles from 2013 to 2017. Michael also gained experience at SandRidge Energy, Inc. where they held roles such as Land Lead/Supervisor, Senior Landman, and Landman from 2007 to 2013. Michael began their career as a Landman at Hanna Oil and Gas Company in 2004 and later worked as a Landman at Encore Acquisition Company from 2005 to 2007.

Michael Palmer attended Chickasha High School from 1996 to 1999 but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Michael then attended the University of Oklahoma - Price College of Business from 1999 to 2003, where they pursued a degree in EMGT/FIN. However, the field of study for this degree is not specified.
