Emil Yankov

Emil Yankov has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on DevOps and release management. Emil is currently the Head of DevOps Enablement at RIMES Technologies. Prior to this, Emil held roles such as Lead DevOps Engineer at RBS, where they led a DevOps transformation and migration to Google Cloud Platform. Emil also worked as a DevOps Engineer at Equiniti, where they designed and implemented CI/CD pipelines and automated on-demand environments. Emil has also held various contracting and consulting roles at companies like Handelsbanken Wealth Management, HCC International Insurance Company PLC, Brit Insurance, Credit Suisse, Barclays Capital, and SITA. Emil has a strong background in .NET development and extensive experience in implementing DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Emil Yankov obtained a BSc in Economic Data Processing from D. A. Tsenov – Academy of Economics, Bulgaria, from 1990 to 1995. In 1996, they pursued a CPPD in Design and Web Site Publishing, as well as Business media skills from the University of West London.
