Jeremy Gagnon has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Jeremy started their career at Bankers Trust in 1993, where they worked in global investment management derivatives trading. Jeremy then moved on to Financial Technologies International, where they served as a business analyst, sales associate, and subject matter expert for a securities management system.
In 1996, Gagnon joined Enron as a risk manager, overseeing equity exposure in proprietary hedge funds. Jeremy managed a team of risk managers and collaborated with various stakeholders to monitor P&L and develop strategies to manage operational and market risk exposure.
Gagnon joined UBS Global Asset Management in 1999 and held two roles during their tenure. As a director and senior performance analyst in performance analytics, they led a team responsible for collecting and reconstructing equity and fixed income index data. Jeremy also developed model benchmarks and built relationships with major index providers. Later, as a director and new product & new capabilities manager, Gagnon worked on developing and adopting new alternative products while collaborating with different departments.
In 2007, Gagnon joined Fidelity International as a director of product management. Jeremy worked closely with stakeholders to launch and manage initiatives for institutional, multi-manager, and cash management businesses. Jeremy also served as an alternative investments SME and managed a team of four.
Gagnon then transitioned to RIMES Technologies Corporation in 2012, where they held the role of executive vice president - head of sales engineering. Jeremy applied consultative processes to understand clients' integration needs and managed a team across multiple locations. Jeremy also served as a subject matter expert for performance and risk and presented at industry events. More recently, Gagnon briefly served as the executive vice president - interim head of office Manila within the same company.
Prior to their finance career, Gagnon volunteered as an emergency medical technician starting in 2011. Jeremy also had an entrepreneurial experience in private investments from 2009 to 2011.
Jeremy Gagnon received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from Bryant University between 1989 and 1993. In 2018, they attended the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford for the Oxford Fintech Programme.
