Sam Sharpless

Sam Sharpless serves as Vice President and MEP Practice Leader at Rimkus Consulting Group, specializing in Mechanical and Electrical Forensics with a focus on failure analysis and forensic incident reconstruction since January 2002. Previously, Sam held the position of Automation Services Branch Manager at General Electric from March 1990 to November 2001, and served as an Air Force Officer for the United States Air Force from March 1988 to March 1990, specifically as an F-16 Aircraft Maintenance officer. Earlier in career development, Sam worked as an Electrical Engineer in Data Communications at Florida State University from May 1987 to March 1988, contributing to the planning of the university's first campus-wide data communications system. Sam earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, completing the degree in 1987.
