Gil Etzion has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Gil began their career in 1992 as the Sales and Engineering Director and Vice-CEO of Pazgal Ltd., a manufacturer of overhead doors. From 1993 to 1997, they served as the Real Estate Entrepreneurship Division Manager at Mer Group. In 1997, they joined Ofer Brothers Properties (1957) Ltd. as the Income-Generating Assets Manager, responsible for managing and maintaining various income-generating properties.

In 2000, Gil became the Executive Director of Mer Group and the Director of Latin America, where they opened and managed new markets in several countries. Gil also founded, presided over, and served as the CEO of three subsidiaries of Mer Group in Mexico, leading them to become the largest providers in the field in Mexico.

Gil joined Netafim Ltd. in 2006 and held various senior roles, including Director of Business Development for the Emerging Markets Division and President and CEO of the Brazilian subsidiary. Gil was responsible for worldwide renewable and bioenergy crop projects and led the turnaround of the Brazilian subsidiary, achieving significant sales growth and profitability.

From 2011 to 2013, Gil worked as the Corporate Senior Vice President and Head of the Clean-Tech Division & Corporate Business Development at Mer Group, focusing on communication infrastructure, water treatment, green energy solutions, and security systems.

In 2013, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Gaash Lighting, overseeing all divisions of the company and preparing it for the era of electronic lighting manufacturing.

From 2013 to 2020, Gil served as the Executive Vice President and Head of EPC & AFRICA Division at TAHAL Group, responsible for executing engineering, procurement, and construction projects worldwide.

Most recently, in 2021, Gil joined Rimon Group as the Executive Vice President of Business Development.
